Hiking 15 minutes from the cottage by car!
Yann came in May to discover this territory and here are 2 topos he offers us:
Lake Peyssier by the parade of Gouravour up the torrent of Maraize
IGN map 3338 OT - Serres / Veynes Departure at 15 minutes by car of the lodging inn of Bëch Duration: 1/2 day
A beautiful hike to the lake is not difficult and can be done with the family. Park shortly after Le Saix, a small village of a hundred inhabitants and for gourmands, visit possible at the cannery "Délices des Barronies". Follow the trail for about 6 km to the lake (480 meters of elevation gain).
Route dotted with surprises with an artistic trail, waterfalls galore, the ruins of an old abbey (Abbey of Clausonne) ...
Unless you have a 4x4, it is not recommended to go too far on the track by car.
Good walkers have the opportunity to combine this hike with the ascent of the mountain of Aujour, which can be seen from the terrace of the cottage. Count then a little more than 1,000 meters of elevation gain to complete the entire route.

The devil's pots - Durbonas torrent
IGN 3338 OT card - Serres / Veynes .Departure 15 minutes drive from the B & B Auberge du Buëch. Duration: 1/2 day.
To access the car park, follow the D1075 towards La Faurie. Before the village, take a narrow road on the right. A sign indicates access to the devil's pots.
The place does not bear its name as this succession of basins, projections, cascades where a crystal clear water is enchanting!
An ideal hike in hot weather, to enjoy the shade and the coolness of the torrent. A little more sporty than the last (Lake Peyssier by the parade of Gouravour).
Be extremely careful when taking children, the rock is often slippery and some passages a little exposed require a sure foot!
Be careful also to follow the yellow markings.
This torrent is a marvel, the way in which it is traced a passage in the rock causes astonishment permanently. When the trail joins a trail, turn left and go down to the Orthodox Dormition Monastery (possible visit).
For seasoned hikers wishing to make a day trip: possibility to take the track to the right to climb the mountain Durbonas (2086m), or even join the gorges of Agnielles.
